Export from Vologda Region to China increased by 56% in 2025.

The Vologda Region exported its production to 85 foreign countries in 2025. China has become one of the most dynamically developing destinations, rising from the fifth to third place in the list of the region's main trading partners. Shipments to China increased by 56%.

Cheese production in Vologda Region increased by more than 50%.

The cheese-making industry of the Vologda Region is rapidly developing. According to the results of the first quarter of 2026, local enterprises increased production by 56.1% compared to the same period last year.

Vologda Region ranks second in the North-Western Federal District in terms of non-primary exports.

The Vologda Region has significantly increased foreign trade volume by the end of 2025. The volume of non-primary non-energy exports in the region has increased by 27%. The volume of exports of SMEs has increased by 68%.
